Anderson became the fourth Auditor to lose reelection joining Democrat Adolph Biermann in 1894, Republican Rolland Hatfield in 1974, and DFLer Robert Mattson, Jr. in 1978.
Otto was a resident of Marine on St. Croix and small business owner.
Gerold was a resident of Minneapolis and Minneapolis Deputy Chief of Police for Investigations.
Berger was a resident of Minneapolis, instructor at Inver Hills Community College, and Green nominee for Auditor in 2002.
