Secretary of State Kiffmeyer was reelected to a second term.
Humphrey was the grandson of former U.S. Senator and Vice President Hubert Humphrey and U.S. Senator Muriel Humphrey and son of former Minnesota Attorney General Skip Humphrey (1983-1999). He was a co-founder of Minnesotans for a Democratic Majority and former public policy aide to Minneapolis Mayor Sharon Sayles Belton.
Alger was a political consultant and author from Minneapolis.
Koebrick was the webmaster for the State of Minnesota and a resident of St. Paul.
