Olson was a resident of White Bear Lake and president of Midwest Markings.

Weinholzer was a resident of Maplewood, Assistant to the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transporation, former Independent-Republican Party state chair (1989-1993), and party-endorsed candidate.

Siers was a resident of North St. Paul, supervisor for U.S. West Communications, and candidate for Treasurer in 1998. Siers was the first (and only) Republican woman to appear on a primary or general election ballot for the office of Treasurer.

Pflaum was a resident of St. Paul.
