Page was an attorney from Minneapolis, assistant Attorney General (1987-1993), and former professiornal football player (1967-1981). Page was the first African-American to serve on the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Johnson was an attorney from St. Paul, criminal prosecutory in the Hennepin County Attorney's office, and GOP nominee for Attorney General in 1990.
