Lindquist was a Minneapolis attorney who was appointed to the office by Governor Luther Youngdahl on June 21, 1949 following the death of Commissioner Frank Matson on May 29, 1949.

Peterson was an attorney from St. Paul and candidate for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner in the 1952 special election.

Weiss was a resident of Minneapolis and GOP candidate for Railroad and Warehouse Commissioner in 1950 regular election and in 1952.

Jeppesen was a resident of Minnetonka, nominee for HD 36 in 1956, and candidate for HD 36 in 1960.
