Lieutenant Governor Anderson was reelected to a second term.
Williams was a resident of St. Paul and executive national organizer of the Farmer-Labor Political Federation. He was also a Farmer-Labor U.S. House nominee for the 4th CD in 1928, 1936, and 1938 and a candidate for an at-large seat in 1932.
Ryan was an attorney from Minneapolis.
Heron was a resident of St. Paul and endorsed by the state Communist Party at the state convention in June. He ran a sticker campaign.
