Youngdahl, a Minneapolis attorney, was the GOP nominee for attorney general in 1934.

Wennenberg was a prosecuting attorney from Center City.

Weeks was a Minneapolis attorney and four-term state Representative (HD 11, 1929-1937).

Johnson was an attorney from Mankato who later served in the state House (HD 11, 1963-1967; HD 11A, 1967-1973).

Larson was an attorney from Minneapolis and former Benton County Attorney (1907-1908). This was the sixth bid for attorney general by Larson who lost GOP primaries in 1920, 1922, 1928, and 1930 and the Farmer-Labor primary of 1924.
