2nd place vote tally: Raab (13,806), Lee (10,481), Eberhart (9,941). Governor Eberhart became the first incumbent to lose a gubernatorial primary in Minnesota.
Lee was a banker from Long Prairie and former state Representative (HD 39, 1885-1889; HD 46, 1893-1895) and House Speaker (1893-1895) who unsuccessfully sought the GOP nomination for governor in 1896 and 1912.
Raab was a resident of Duluth who unsuccessfully ran for GOP nomination in SD 49 in 1910.
