Auditor Braden was reelected to a second term. This was the first cycle in which the office of Auditor was up for a four-year term.

Lundberg was a member of the Lundberg Bros. grocery in Duluth and had served multiple terms as alderman.

Allen was a resident of Minneapolis and Hennepin County delegate to the first state Prohibition convention held on July 7, 1886.
