Black was a resident of Minneapolis, Hennepin County Auditor, former lumberman, former territorial Representative (HD 02, 1849-1850; HD 01, 1852-1853, 1857), and Mayor of Stillwater (1860-1861).
Page was a farmer from Pleasant Grove, former deputy sheriff, justice of the peace, and state Senator (SD 09, 1879-1881).
Carter was a farmer, civil engineer, and surveyor from St. Peter, and the Prohibition Party nominee for Railroad Commissioner in 1877.
