Berry was an attorney from Winona who was later elected to the state Senate (SD 08, 1874-1876).
Nourse was later elected attorney general of Nevada in 1864 and served one term.
Berry was an attorney from Faribault, Territorial Representative (HD 08, 1857), eventual state Senator (SD 08, 1863-1865) and state Supreme Court Associate Justice (1865-1887). He was a nominee for Associate Justice of the Supreme Court this cycle.
