Meeker County
Meeker County is located in Central Minnesota and was established on February 23, 1856 by the Territorial Legislature. Meeker County is named after Minnesota Territorial Supreme Court Associate Justice (1849-1853) Bradley B. (B.B.) Meeker. Litchfield is the county seat. Sources: Meeker County website.
