Marshall County
Marshall County is located in Northwest Minnesota along the North Dakota border and was established on February 25, 1879 by the State Legislature. Marshall County was named for Republican Governor (1866-1870) and Railroad Commissioner (1876-1882) William Marshall. Warren is the county seat. Source: Marshall County website.
