Notes: | Schaper was a professor of political science from Minneapolis who was fired with great controversy from the University of Minnesota on September 13, 1917 from the Board of Regents led by future U.S. Supreme Court Justice Pierce Butler on charges of pro-Germany sympathy brought by the State Public Safety Commission. In 1925 he became a professor of finance at the University of Oklahoma. |
