Notes: | Adams was a former post office clerk in Fergus Falls for two decades. Adams was the brother of Elmer E. Adams, who represented Otter Tail County in the state House and state Senate sporadically from the early 1900s to the early 1940s. Wilbur and Elmer ran against each other in the primary in a 13-candidate field for eight spots for the 50th HD seat in 1916. Elmer placed third and advanced to the general election; Wilbur placed ninth and did not. |
