Notes: | Bakken served as superintendent of schools in Le Roy for eight years. He subsequently served as a deputy collector of internal revenue in Rochester from 1944-1946, was a high school principal in Rochester for one year, and was named superintendent of schools in Chatfield, Minnesota for two years starting in 1948. He served as superintendent of schools in Aitkin, Minnesota from 1950 to 1966. He served as president of the Central Minnesota Education Association and was a board member of the Minnesota Education Association. |
