Notes: Coxey was a People's Party nominee for Ohio's 18th CD in 1894 and for Ohio Governor in 1895 and 1897, an independent candidate for Ohio U.S. Senate in 1916, for Ohio's 18th CD in 1916, and Ohio's 16th CD in 1922 and 1924, a Farmer-Labor nominee for Ohio's 16th CD in 1936, and a Democratic candidate for Ohio's 16th CD in 1938. He was elected Mayor of Massillon as a Republican in 1931.
