Notes: | In November 1950, Beltrami County Commissioner Anderson was indicted on bribery charges by a grand jury stating he had taken a $500 bribe from a Minneapolis equipment company to facilitate the sale of a snowplow to Beltrami County in 1948. Anderson denied the charges, and a Ramsey County District Court judge threw out the case in January 1951. Anderson was later Superintendent of the Beltrami Nursing Home. |
