Notes: At age 25 in 1902, Jones was the youngest nominee (Clerk of the Supreme Court) ever placed on a state ticket in Minnesota history. Jones later served as a federal judge in Montana (15th District, 1918-1921) and the Virgin Islands (1936-1937). At the time of his death he was believed to be the last living delegate to the 1904 Democratic National Convention.
