Notes: | Bleecker came to Minneapolis in 1882. He was appointed clerk of the Minneapolis Probate Court in 1891. Bleecker was appointed by Minneapolis Mayor Wallace Nye to the city's first Civil Service Commission in 1913 and served until 1918. In 1919, he was appointed to the Minneapolis City Planning Commission and served until 1919 at which point he was reappointed to the Minneapolis Civil Service Commission. Bleecker was also a director of various banks in Minnesota over the decades. |
