Notes: | Austin was arrested for assault with intent to kill on August 29, 1881 when he drew a revolver and threatened to kill anyone who seized his proprerty when a deputy sheriff attempted to enforce a lien the city had on him. In January 1882 the grand jury did not indict Austin and the case was dismissed. |
